“Winter Dawn wants to show Indigenous youth that they can be more than what a lot of society sees them as. In her own life, Winter Dawn had to overcome feeling ashamed of her heritage and worked hard to reconnect with her land and culture. She is currently the cohost of a podcast (When the Frogs Sleep) which revolves around connecting youth to culture via traditional storytelling, self discovery, and features a variety of guests with a focus on youth empowerment as well as 2sLGBTQIAP+ connection, and multiple identities.”
